Stuart and Rachael's Weekend in San Antonio

The hotel they stayed at.

Some sugar skulls from Dio de los Muertos

An old mail chute in the hotel.

Checking in.
On the riverwalk, they were floarting coffins down the river to celebrate.

We rode the trolley.
This was an altar set up in the market.
Mercado decorations.
Our grand entrance.

Stuart and Rachael spent a weekend in San Antonio with Stuart's Uncle Bruce and Aunt Reeva. They enjoyed Seaworld, the Riverwalk, and the El Mercado (Market Square) where celebrations for Dio De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is being celebrated. Dio de los Muertos is a celebration of dead family members which is usually celebrated with an altar tributing them.
